Optional vegetables for skewers: Red bell peppersonions, zucchini
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, and minced garlic.
Add salt and pepper to taste, then stir well until the marinade is smooth and well combined.
Step 2: Marinate the Lamb
Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (the longer it marinates, the more flavorful it will be).
Step 3: Assemble the Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Thread the lamb cubes onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of bell peppers, onions, and zucchini if desired.
Step 4: Grill the Lamb Skewers
Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
Once the skewers are nicely browned and tender, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
